Recycled pp granule environmental impact on the environment

2023-Jun-03

Recycled pp granule are reusable plastic particles made by cleaning, sorting, crushing, melting, granulating and other processes on waste PP plastics.
Environmental impact: The environmental impact of recycled PP particles mainly includes the following aspects 345:
Energy saving: Using recycled PP particles to produce PP products can significantly reduce total energy consumption, saving 79% to 88% of energy compared to using raw PP. This is because the recovered PP particles do not require high energy consumption steps such as crude oil extraction, extraction, and cracking during the production process, but only require fewer cleaning, melting, and other processes.
Reducing emissions: Using recycled PP particles to produce PP products can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reducing emissions by 67% to 71% compared to using raw PP. This is because the recycled PP particles do not produce a large amount of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane during the production process, but only produce less carbon monoxide and other gases.
Reducing waste: The use of recycled PP particles can effectively utilize PP waste, reduce the occupation and pollution of land and water resources, and also reduce the harmful substances generated by landfill or incineration.
Promoting economic development: The use of recycled PP particles can reduce production costs, improve competitiveness, and also create more employment opportunities and tax revenue. According to the estimates of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), every 10000 tons of plastic recycling increased, about 57 jobs and about $1.6 million in tax revenue could be created. In addition, the use of recycled PP particles can also meet the needs and preferences of consumers and manufacturers for environmentally friendly products and materials.
